JD Error Code 01

I just started using my 3320 for a lot of mowing and noticed that I'm getting error code 01 on a regular occasion. It seems like it always flashes when I'm going in reverse and then hit the forward petal. I then have to depress the reverse petal to the floor and then hit the forward petal again and I'll start moving and the code goes away.

I've had my tractor now for a few years and it's never seemed this sensitive before when doing a lot of forward and reverse movement. I'd say it happens about 7 out of 10 times when going from reverse to forward.

Is this normal?

It happens when both pedals are pressed at the same time. Maybe one of you pedals is not returning all the way, or maybe your big feet are just hitting both pedals when you are turned around. The code should clear on its own when you let up on both pedals. If it doesn't, try pulling up on one of the pedals to see which one is not returning.

That wouldn't be the first time my big feet caused me problems!! Haha

Well, the story continues....

When I was putting it in the barn a few hours ago, I was backing up and I took my foot off the petal. The tractor continued to roll at .2 mph. I very slowly pushed the forward petal and got the error. I reversed again and the machine stopped. I pushed the forward petal and everything was good. This reverse on its own happens about 50 percent of the time. I spend a few minutes going back and first and it happened several more times.
