JD Gator - Not Enough Leg Room!

In the hopes that JD Gator designers read these posts ...

I'm tall - 6'5", but with relatively short legs - 34" inseam. Today I sat in several JD Gators and found the leg room at the driver seat to range from completely unusable (can't lift/bend leg enough to reach the brake pedal) to very uncomfortable. I'm kind of bummed. So was my wife because she knows we can't buy one if I can't use it.

Now we're off to look at Polaris Rangers.

I am 5'8" and I have to put the seat all the way back on our XUV 620i, and it still feels a little tight. I notice my wife (5'6") doesn't move the seat forward when she uses it, but she does change the seat on everything else that we drive.

Ergonomics is the final word in these things. When we test rode the Rangers, we found the entry/exit really tough. There is a bar there on the side that just about stops you from getting in if you are in a hurry. We wanted easy in/ easy out for fencing and farm work, yard work etc. Becasue of this we were attracted to the 825i Gator. During the first week we owned it, I figured out how to move the passenger seat back three inches and raised it 1.5", to make the passenger legroom much bigger. No interference with anything, the seat still hinges forward, its way more confortable, gives as much legroom as the driver side has.

For more leg room find an Intimidator utv dealer. Largest bench seat and most leg room on the market to date!
Also spec for spec out specs every vehicle on the market other then the guys who go 60+ mph
