I've had this tractor for 10 years and I've had to:

1. Change the oil and filter every year.

2. Change the hydrostatic transmission oil.

3. Sharpen the mower blades 2x per year.

4. Grease it.

5. Wash and wax it.

6. Put water in the battery.

7. Grease the tiller chain and bearings.

8. Clean the air filter.

9. Put air in the front and rear tires.

10. Last but not least --- put gas in it...

I'm about fed up with this thing ....;)

My JD LX255 (going on 12 years now) is even worse. I have to sharpen the blades every couple of months, and have had to *replace* mine several times. I haven't had to wax mine, but I'll tell you - the paint has faded. Mine doesn't even *have* a tiller, but at least I don't have to work on one.

Changing the fluids and filters - now I know the manual says to do it, so I do, but gosh...

Putting gas in it is almost the last straw, but the thing is paid for, you know :) :) :)?
