JD GT235E varient

Seems like a great option to have for power outages. Too bad it is such a small generator.

Would also be great for running an electric weedeater or leaf blower around the yard.

I looked and did not see the generator parts listed at JDPC.

There is a little more info here

Perhaps the GT235E had a larger alternator and a 1000 watt inverter. You could put an inverter on any mower but would quickly drain the battery without a larger inverter. My LX279 alternator puts out 13 amps. Any load over about 150 watts on the alternator would be draining the battery. You would need around a 80 amp alternator to be be handle 1000 watts of 110 assuming you used a very efficient inverter.
