JD Hard Sunshade

I cannot find the JD hard sunshade (I think it's made of fiberglass) on the John Deere web site. I need one that will fit a JD 4520. I suspect that the soft umbrella-type would last about 10 minutes in our Wyoming wind.
Also looking for the JD forks to replace the 400x FEL bucket.

And you can't find the parts, or your Deere dealer can't find the parts? Or you can't find the dealer?
The Deere forks work great.
Some things the web site just doesn't cover, seems like.

Go into the configurator and click all the little camera icons. About half actually point to the item they are with. I know for sure that I saw tha canopy in there, but no telling what the picture was linked to. Once you get the actual picture, it should have the bundle number with it...

I ordered one along with my 4120.

Canopy- LVB25334 $394
Mounting kit- LVB25332 $72

These were JD Configurator list prices as of 3/11/05

At present there is no hard canopy listed on the configurator, only the umbrella. As for price, it directs you to contact dealer.

Hmmm. Hard to haggle without some kind of base price.

Here's another one; femcomfg.com. Their soft sunshade looks to be fairly rugged and folds out of the way when not needed. They quoted me $230 for a size to fit a 4110 and you can order direct. They have hard shells too but I didn't price them.

It seems to me that all of the JD's I have had with canopies outfitted by the dealer, were actually Curtis brand canopies. I know they offer an extensive line from canopies to enclosed accessorized cabs. All in JD green. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
