For over a century The U.S. has been an agriculture giant. This Agra-power can help us through these troubled times and into the future. It can help us with our trade imbalance. All the products from out farmers are "Made in America" when few other things are manufactored here. The Middle East has oil(so do we but we're not allowed to drill every where for it) and we have the greatest Ag-power in the world.

And, I would add, a good place to start would be along the Left (west) coast. They don't seem to mind burning our petroleum, but don't want any drilling out there.
Also, the current administration could resume issuing deep-water drilling permits for the Gulf. There haven't been any in over a year now. Last I heard, 70,000 people in the Gulf coast region were out of work because of that.
