Mowing JD L110 Blade Engagement Piece ID and replacement...

John Deere L110 purchased new in 4/2003 approaching ~500hrs.

This piece has worn out and I was wondering how/if it can be replaced.

I think it comes from the handle above?

The brass part's hole is fine, it's inside that has been worn out (the hole is worn to an oval-oblong instead of circle) and the bolt is gone. I keep using a bent coat clothes hanger.

It control's the engagement of the mower deck's blades.

I think I need either 2A or 2B (probably 2A since it has the hole in it).

The brass piece is fine, it's the piece that slips inside it that has an oblong hole.

Have you tried ordering a replacement?

Does yours have the flat on the end or is the end round (2B looks like it has a flat and fits into the part # 11C whereas 2A looks like it is round and fits into part #11A [or 11B] ).

Which part is brass? Would it be 11C ?

The quick repair would be to put a bolt back in.
