Mulching kit = different blades, plug, and possibly a baffle arrangement to mount under the deck (My wheelhorse has bolt in baffles) . I think there are three types of blades depending what you are doing. Mulching, Bagging, Side discharge ect... Mulching blade, High lift, Med lift.

Own a L111. Fine tractor. Of interest is that I ran into a lawn service guy that was using a 20 year old JD 185 and a L111. The L111 had 550 hours on it in only 3 years. It was being run very hard in a salt water air environment. Running fine.
