JD L125 functioning problem

JD L125 lawn mower quits around 25 minutes of use ... ? Fuel ... Will fire with starter fluid, and will start after a rest period of 1 to a few hours. Fuel pump and filter have been replaced with effect. Operation in cool vs. very hot weather are no different. Anyone with same problem? ... Suggestions?

check and see if it will run with gas cap loose vent maybe not working

Thanks. I have previously loosened (even removed) fuel cap multiple times with no improvement. Any other suggestions ??

Don't know if this will help check flow of fuel out of tank and out of line going to carb had a problem once with eng shutting down after a few minutes found piece of wood in fuel line after eng shuts off it would float back allowing fuel flow then once it was started it would slowly makes it way back up and shut off fuel was hard to find
