JD Loader difference

What is the difference in a 200/300 loader and a 200cx/300cx loader. Several hundred bucks for one thing. Looks like you can configure buckets on both of these the same. Just going over quotes I got today and see I have abit of homework before Monday.

The 300 series loaders are stronger, larger, probably have larger hydraulic cylinders, etc. In most cases the lift capacity is much higher, both in weight, and height. You will note that the 300 loader that comes with the 790 actually lifts less than the smaller 200cx loaders on the 2320, and 2520. I'm not sure why JD has chosen to limit the lifting so much on both loader, and 3pt on the 790 tractors. I was hoping that it would be higher on the 3005, but the 3pt lift capacity seems to be the same.

Thanks Chuck. What I am loooking for is the difference in the same series loaders.(ie: a 200 vs a 200cx and a 300 vs. a 300cx) There is a big price difference and I'm not sure it is for just a quick detach feature. Could it be one has larger cylinders then the other? I don't know what the difference is. The men I work with that have 790's have the 300 loader with the heavy duty bucket with a tooth bar . 4 out of 5 of them. In the quote I got I was priced out the 300cx loader and it looks like they didn't deduct the price of the std. material bucket.

The 200 is a non quick park loader, and is designed to stay on the tractor. I think the 300, and 300x loaders have reduced lift capabilities compared to the 300cx though there may be other differences as well. All the 300 series have the quick park feature.
