JD Loader Suspension

Anyone have any experience with the John Deere Loader Suspension?

It's a nitrogen charged tank that connects by hydraulic hose to the lift hose (tees in) of the boom cylinders. Has a valve to shut the system off. I am not sure if there is something (like a bladder) that keeps the nitrogen separate from the hydraulic oil.

Wondering if this really works and is worth getting?

JD offers it for some loaders on 5000, 6000, 7000 series tractors, maybe more.

No experience with it on tractor loaders, but all of our jd payloaders(544 &644's) at work have this. If you are going to be doing alot of traveling with a loaded bucket ride control really is a nice feature. It cuts down on the bouncing and jarring by raising and lowering the loader arms in response to the bumps. I don't know about the tractors, but there is a noticable difference on the payloaders, to the point that I wouldn't want one without it. My 2c...hope it helps?

All I know it works like a back hoes loader suspension. Say you were going about 25 miles+ on the road and you hit a big bump. Usually your loader will just fly up and down making clunking sounds, But with the suspension it just rocks it back and forth till your past the bump. :2cents:

Used a similar system on case backhoes. Worked great at simulating suspension when traveling whether loader was empty or full.

If it was an option for my 2320, I would've ordered it. Just so I could use it while mowing.
