Anyone get an order code for the new XUV alloys yet?
Should be available around now.

Got a reply from JD regarding this today, March 4, '08.

Question:
You show on your web site 2 new types of alloy wheel fitted to the Gator XUV. When will these be available through dealers, and what is the part numbers for the yellow one with polished highlights?

So no go yet on this.

As my XUV came with standard turf tyres,
I ordered these today:
Kenda K299 BEAR CLAW TYRE
(2 for front) 26 x 9 x 12 # 59-7598
(2 for rear) 26 x 12 x 12 # 59-7599
Should have HD struts for front in a week,
might also give it a 1" lift at front,
don't want c of g too high.

I just talked to our dealer on Friday and he said that Deere is suppose to release them by the end of this month. He thought though that Deere was going to just release one style and then wait awhile before the other style would be released. He said the reason they put paint on them, was for some type of patent infringement.

they do look alot like some of them itp rims i seen but hey as long as you just change one little thing your ok.but painted rims that might not last too long you might end up with a scratched up rim lookin like crap.if you do any kind of mud riding.

Got my 26x9x12 and 26x12x12 bearclaws fitted to the standard rims yesterday.
Got the tyres from a supplier in Wales. No 26" inchers around here, all 25's for quads.
The local tyre fitting bay was mad busy, but as I went to school years ago with the owner, I got fitted in between a couple of very large trucks.
The guys wanted a break from the big tyres.
The tyre had to be inflated with lots of lubricant added to almost 40lbs to get the bead to pop out and seat properly.
Now the XUV looks like it could go somewhere. Still waiting on the HD front struts.

Here are the new code numbers for the Wheels when they become available.

BM22603 Aluminum/ clear front 12x7
BM22650 Aluminum/ clear Rear 12x8

BM22653 Aluminum/yellow front 12x7
BM22657 Aluminum/yellow rear 12x8

They are not available yet. This info was taken from JD's web parts catalog. It is the whole goods numbers for the wheels and hardware including the hub cap.
