Just to confuse the issue since we have found that it isn't worth bothering with JD for Yanmar parts I discovered today that JD parts http://jdparts.deere.com lists both US and Gray Yanmars. There isn't a lot of stuff but I was surprised to find hood decals. Also if you check under engines they have some parts like oil filters, starters, generators. They also list the engine model for each machine. I had to get a password from the local dealer. It is very handy if you have a JD machine. Its an online parts book nice diagrams.

One part that I needed for my headgasket rebuild was the bolt that connects the fuel return line to the top of the injector. The bolt started to shear as I torqued it down. I backed it out and it was almost twisted in two. It is a 8mm 1.25 pitch 20 mmlong with holes to let the fuel back in the lines. I had two choices, call a dealer, send payment, and wait for the part or go to JD. I checked a 750 and the injectors are the same as my 2310. The bolt matched. Well my Yanmar now has a JD(made by Yanmar). $2.00, the shipping for a genuine yanmar part would cost more than that. Only a couple of hours for the repair. All the parts don't interchange that easily but sometimes you get lucky.
