JD power steering rebuild sevice

Just finished restoring JD 70 gas the one thing that prevents me from using the tractor is the power steering. Next step is to remove it tear it back apart and check all critical parts and dimensions and hope I find something.
Using it now never know when it might lock up so it has to be fixed. Anyone know of a service where one might be rebuilt?

I have no help for you, but Dad had a 70 diesel with wide front that would catch when tying to turn left sometimes, You would have to turn the wheel right a little and then it would usually go left. Had to pull the hand clutch a few times before I hit the fence at the end of the field because I couldn't get it to turn. I don't think we fixed before it traded for a 930 Case.

Been talking to a lot of people they all agree there were problems with these certain tractors in the power steering. Our 60 (knock on wood) has been problem free. I will get it working too nice a tractor not to.

Update, tore into the 70 yesterday getting the pinion and control valve box off the pedestal disassembled and right away found one critical end play dimension way off a spring so tight is was basically solid. So made up a parts list and ordered them. Once together and setup by the manual we will see how it goes

The parts came put the box back on tractor no luck. So reread the manual one more time also talked to a 2 cylinder master finally understood what to look for and how critical getting the clearances correct. Where the manual says shoot for as close to .001 in a couple of places now understand why. This time with all clearances on the money it worked a couple of slight taps on the centering valve brought the steering into where it was intend to be what a huge weight lifted. Now have to clean up all the leaked power steering fluid.
