Would like to know if anyone knows the priciing for a set of forks that will attach to my 300cx? I found a set locally for 600.00 that do not even have the paint scratched. They were made by Horst Welding with sliding tines,48" long and 2000 lb capacity? Thanks in advance.

The Frontier ones (JD) seems to range from $700-$800 or so...And I have heard good things about the Horst ones also.

I would say jump on those!! Deere forks are around $850 to over $1000 I think. I had a set built and have around $900 invested.

EJB,

I see you have a 666 JD snowblower. How well do you like it. I just picked one up a month ago and am getting ready to paint it/refurb it. Do you have the hydraulic shoot on it and how well does that work. Thanks

That is a good price for the Horst forks. Sounds like there selling them at cost. The frontier sets we sell are $800 and we have an old set of Horst forks on our 5410/541 FEL yard tractor that we use every day and have never had a problem.

I got the Frontier forks for my 3720 W/300cx loader. I paid $780.00 OTD for them. They are rated for 3750 lbs and the forks are adjustable. The build quality is excellent but, they are pricey. So far I've used them about as much as my bucket. I should have bought a set for my old 4100. I never thought I'd use them this much. Now I just have to start collecting pallets to put all my stuff on.:D

Thanks everyone for the replies. Tritonman, I like the 666 blower but do not have the hydraulic shoot. After I refurbed it I have had no problems. I think the only thing I would do is to close up the gap between the fan and the housing to get it to blow a little further. Good luck with it.

You can to buy the hooks and pins from JD. I did the same thing with a set of forklift forks and some channel iron.
