I would jump on those Horst forks at that price--I bought the ~4000# set for about $800... thing is with the 300CX even if you somehow raised 2000#'s, that is more than it will safely move for you... I did not have to go a size up for them and could have saved some $$$ there, plus had the "extra" capacity lighter forks would have granted...
FWIW the forks have elicited the "pucker factor" more than any other attachment... a LOT of leverage on a 3x20 frame when you have a bushhog sticking out or a high stack... they are invaluable when needed, but when carrying on even slightly uneven terrain they are not a "fun" attachment...
