Here's list price from the "Build Your Own" site. Doesn't look like the dealer is offering much of a discount. Missed the "Attaching Parts" add another $346.

Welcome to "New England pricing at Deere dealerships".

Let me guess, they told you the prices on the Deere "build your own" site aren't really the real prices cause they don't include freight, handling, delivery and setup. I was looking at a demo model 3x20 when they had the 0% for 48 but when they told me the best deal they could do was list for a tractor with 200 hours on it I walked.

I have thought about hooking up a low boy and going for a ride down south and seeing what the dealers down that way will shoot me for a deal. I figure after I pay for Diesel, tolls and sales tax I'll still get a better deal than in N.E.

Like I said, Northeast pricing, get used to it. Sometimes I get the feeling the dealers have a gentleman's agreement..... But that's just my opinion.

I am pricing the same tractor and have received two quotes. The first one was:
2320 $12,300
200CX loader $2,650
Total $14,950
Allow for Trade in my 4100 JD with 60 inch mower $8,950
Difference = $6000 plus $360 tax
JD will finance the difference at 0% for 36 months.

I returned to the dealer a week later with pictures of my tractor and dealer increased the allowance on my tractor to $9,950. Second quote difference = $5000 plus $300 tax.

A 54 inch ramp on mower was quoted at $2000 and the bag collection system another $2000. I am not sure if this is a fair deal or not and would also like opinions.

I would think that $16,000 would be a fair price for that rig.

That's around 12% off the MSRP from the JD web site. I'm not sure I'd want you to broker a deal for me, Steve... unless I was the dealer!

AKfish, I wouldn't buy for less than 18% to 20% off in the Southwest but on a small tractor with about the same in prep fees and delivery it is more like $15,600 +$400 fees for $16,000.

FWIW, I have a hard time picturing my buying such a small tractor for this much money, add a few thousand and you can buy a real utility tractor that will do alot more work. Thats why I use a riding mower, tractor and tlb.
