JD wheels that will fit a 2520? (other than stock size)

I have a JD 2520 and I am wondering if any of the other size JD tractor wheels would bolt up propperly to a 2520?

The reason is because I'm desperately hunting for Aig tires for the rear of my 2520, and nobody makes an aig tire in that stupid size. I'm just looking for the rears right now.

Anybody know?

Deadman; check out the Deere parts catalog online. That is what I used to see what options i had in changing wheel sizes and tires. for the wide tires I wante it was 1100 buck a tire at me local dealer ! i am looking at spaces noe, only ~680 a pair - still yikes !

You might contact Firestone Ag. They have a new series of tires that allows crossing types of tires on the same rims. I don't know what the extent is but it is listed in the compact tractor section of their Internet site. WOW that JD parts finder is hard to figure out......

when you get to your model's catalog, select Alphabetical order, then go to W and scroll down to Wheels.

Here is what i found in there on the 2520 for wheels.

LVA13904 WHEEL 2 (15 X 10) (USE WITH R3 36 X 14.00-15 TIRE)
LVA13902 WHEEL 2 (16.5 X 9.75) (USE WITH R4 12-16.5 TIRE)
LVA13908 WHEEL 2 (14 X 8) (USE WITH R3 24 X 8.50-14 TIRE)
LVA13905 WHEEL 2 (12 X 7JA) (USE WITH R4 23 X 8.50-12 TIRE)

I went to the JD website and used the configurator (build your own 90 series, 3000 series, 4000 series) and looked at the different tire/rim combo available.

Of course, there is a cost estimate available for those items on there as well.

My dealer was willing to sell me the set for the listed price. No shipping charges.

Pretty steep at $1,641.00 plus taxes for a set of 8x16 fronts and 14.9x24 rear R1's.

But it appears from the variety of posts on TBN and Ebay, etc. that "real steals" on tire/rim sets is as rare as finding hens teeth.

i think you can find the tiress cheaper online, but the rims, that is another story. I was poking around for used rims but no luck sofar. I got a dealer quote on the rear tires for the 4310 and the widest they had were $1100 each for the tires and $253 for each LVA10166 Rim. So all together I was looking at $781 for fronts and rears rims, and $2500 for the tires . That is more than I paid for my 300cx loader! Too much for a set of spring summer wheels. Maybe I will find them used in the future.

Honestly you would better better off trading in the machine for something that handles AG's -next size up or a different color

Im confused wasnt it Deadman looking for the R1's with different rims for a 2520 ? I know you just got a 4310 series which offers other rims and tires for that machine. The problem Deadman has is the 2520 has real limited options - actually none other than turfs, and nothing that fits the rims he has. Its a pricey issue thats why I suggested another machine -up in size or different color....
