Has anyone performed the 50 hour transmission service on their Z655? If you have done the service, how did you remove the clamp on the hose at the bottom of the transmission oil reservoir? Evidently, when my Z655 was assembled, they attached the hose and clamp on the tank before it was placed in the "pocket" in the frame. In order to drain the reservoir, the Owner's Manual says to "loosen the hose clamp and remove the hose from the reservoir". It doesn't mention that the hose clamp is placed where the head of the hose clamp adjusting screw is inaccessible.:confused2:
The only thing I can think of is to suck the oil out of the transmission oil reservoir with an oil extractor.
If I wanted to partially disassemble the left side of the machine, I could lift out the reservoir and change the location of the clamp. An example where easy/quick assembly in the factory took precedence over servicing the machine later. After 30+ years working for a major heavy truck manufacturer, I've seen that done many times.
