JD z720a cleaning the deck?

I just upgraded my mower to a JD z720a. I am not sure the best way to go about cleaning under the deck. I want to make sure and keep it free of grass buildup but can not seem to get to most of it with a hose through the grass chute. The deck is 60" and very thick, so too heavy to take off and turn over to clean regularly. Just looking for ideas on how other keep the underside maintained properly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Now you have an excuse to get a tractor with a FEL so you can lift the front of the Z720A to clean the deck and change and sharpen blades. A more economical suggestion is a block and tackle or winch to lift it, but not as useful as the tractor!

Try a garden hose with sprayer under the edge of your deck opposite side of discharge. Turn on spray; engage deck and run deck at mowing speed for several min. I wait until water leaving deck is no longer green.
