JD4520 - glow plugs or air heater system ?

I've got a new 4520 (cab). On page 27 of the operating manual, and on the on-line operating manual, under "Starting the Engine" the text refers to the "intake air heater system." I purchased the technical manual in CD form, including specifying the correct serial number range. In the CD manual, in the section on the engine, on page 83 there is a section called "Inspect, remove, and install Glow Plugs."

I'm included to believe the tech manual. I'm not familiar enough with diesel engines to look and see for myself (a problem I look forward to working on over time). Any feedback from someone who knows this tractor would be much appreciated.

I just looked it up in JDparts, Looks like glowplugs...No listing for "air intake heater" or "intake heater"

Quick reply! Parts list and tech manuals beat the owners manual. Probably a victim of "cut and paste" manual creation by JD. Thanks also for the pix. I got the parts CD manual too, but have the catch-22 of how to find something when you don't know what it looks like.
