I have the same parts sheet. But I still can't locate it. I thought it would be next to the filler cap, but it isn't. Is it more to the front,down below, can't find the critter !!
Thanks Jim, I think I see it. I'll let you know later today when I drain the fluid .The parts image says it has six bolts. Wish I could put my phone # here and you could text me a pic. I don't think we are allowed. Catch you later
Thanks Jim, That was it !! After I drained the oil, I took off the two bolts that hold the cover on. When I pulled the strainer out I couldn't believe how much metal was on the strainer. I can't believe the hydraulics worked. Now the backhoe operates like new. Again, thanks a million !!!!
Yeah, quite a bit of metal. I don't think the previous owner ever cleaned it out. Tractor is a 1998 so that's 20 years. Had to do a little work on it. The backhoe had a bent boom . I cut out about 18" of it and welded in new 1/4" steel. Works good now.
