I have been doing a lot of brushing with a 3032E RC2060 combo on rough land. I like to keep the bucket on for knocking down high spots and pushing logs out of my way. But the constant banging of the bucket on the JDQA system is driving me nuts. Way to much slop. I plan on replacing it with a HLA Skid steer style quick attach. But don't have the $950 to spend on the adapter and the additional cost of welding a skid steer plate onto the bucket. Has anyone found a way to keep it from banging around? Thinking about putting some foam or rubber gasket material around the bottom pin to keep it tight against the lynch pin.

It's banging even curled back? I can't say I've ever noticed excessive slop in the QA on mine.

Ear muffs?

Never noticed it either, maybe put washers under the hitch pins?

No banging at all on my 430 FEL on my 4300.. but welding in some shims in strategic places should solve any problem of slop.
Pics of what you see and gaps would help with suggestions.
Other than slop, cannot understand a desire to go to a SS style quick hitch. Just more weight and really no advantage. What attachments would you find useful other than forks for your FEL??

Agreed. I initially thought about adapting to ssqa but really don't see any advantage. Easier to homebuild the brackets for JDQA, you kind of have to buy the SSQA plates.
That being said, I'd prefer to have ssqa vs. jdqa just so it's a little more universal, but I'd never go through the effort or cost to convert. Now if I only had a pin on bucket, I'd make a ssqa for it.

My JDQA bucket will rattle when curled back but when tipped slightly forward its quiet.
