Jinma 254 Block Heater

I'm in need of a block heater for my hard starting in the cold Jinma 254. Anyone have any suggestions on what to get? I like the ones that fit in between the radiator hose, anyone have a NAPA part number for one?

I just installed a Kats lower radiator hose heater on my kama with the Y485 engine. My lower hose was 1 3/4". I was kind of skeptical of how well it would work but, on a 30 degree day the whole head area was warm to the touch in 1 1/2 hrs and my temp gauge was a little over 40c. The engine fired right up without even using the glow plugs.

The heater was $20 at autozone. All you need is the size of the lower hose and a knowledgeable person behind the counter at autozone. Some of them will look at you like you have 2 heads when you say kats heater.

Try the search function and search just the "chinese tractors" forum for engine heater or some such. There is a bunch of info already here(as well as for your oil filter question). The lower radiator hose on the 254/284 is pretty short so the heater chosen has to be pretty sort also.
