I am pretty sure it's an open center system, tractor data is not always 100% correct.

I wondered about that, my first instinct was open center like most other tractors of that size, but tractordata says closed center for what that is worth.

It's open center, did you contact Ronald at Ranch Hand Supply. ? His kit is complete Valve, bracket, hoses, ect. bolt on and your ready to go .
