Just a heads up guys (and gals). This, is on an '07 Jinma 354 4 cylinder (California) .. but may also apply to the 3 cylinder "LE" version.
Upon diagnosing my options for a stuck clutch scenario, I found that the nicely finished little handle, 540-off-720, was installed .. 180* from what it should have been
The fix is simple .. just turn it around. At idle, you can see the difference between the two settings. So I was running the chipper, at 720 instead of 540. No wonder the chipper sounded like an old chevy 6 with a split manifold
I am guessing that we ran the chipper for mabe 30 hours that way, but certainly not a good/safe practice.
The inner (PTO) clutch has freed itself .. crossing fingers on the outer main clutch. This thing has such incredible power, starting it in gear is not a problem .. but ya gotta plan yur moves
Mods: Added an EDO fuel gage. The banjo pump output, along with the 10-16 hydraulic hose, totally sucks for the FEL (4-way). Always talking to the FEL .. sometime today
Gonna mod to at least 1/2" to and from the FEL.
Have Fun .. Be Safe
