I 've noticed lately that farm-pro jinmas are becoming prevalent in the county I live in. Used to be scarce.. just got to see them when a show came thru.. not there are at least 2 dealers that work out of a local flea market, and an automotive shop that are selling them.

Hope this means that the parts base is getting stronger.. and that local mechanics will start having some experience with them....byt the time I finally break down and get one... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I looked at their web page recently and noticed that their are several dealers in Ohio now, where they used to have just two listed the last time I looked. There's even one a few miles from my house that's also selling Mahindra tractors.

At the last Homier sale I was at, they had brochures on becoming a Farmpro dealer. They seem sincere about expanding the business, they seem to need a little direction though-- It appears they are going several directions on their approach to selling them, without full knowledge of how to handle each one.
Just my opinion...

I've had their 2wd job for about a year. No complaints at all. One of the front tires is leaking air but I bet it's my fault. Been running a 4 ft KK bush hog with no problems. I have a 5ft scraper blade that I hope to use this fall. The biggest problem I encountered was learning how to use the tractor correctly. The manual suxs.

The 30hp tractors looked really big and nice. The front loader mounted on it looked impressive.

I can agree with the lack of knowledge of the Homier sales people. I asked the guy if they had been putting front loaders on the 2wd tractors. He said yes and seemed like it was a great thing. Sounds like a really dangerous thing to me! He said the package was $5K.

He also said he was at a show where the local JD dealer came in and looked the tractors over for about 3 hours. He said that the dealer said if he wasn't selling JD's he would be selling Farm Pro's(jinmas). I thought this was pretty laughable as well. I like my Jinma but it ain't a JD!

I hoping to use the larger chinese chipper on my tractor but I'm worried about the weight. It is not an immediate purchase but something for the future. A log splitter would be nice as well.

Keep in mind that 2wd tractors had front end loaders for years and years. It isn't ideal.. but is doable. Between a 2wd tractor, no power steering, and a gear tranny.. you wouldn't want to use it all day.. but an occasional load of dirt here or ther should be fine.

Yep.. I think their staff.. especially sales staff needs a crash course in tractors.. as when I went to look at a sale one time.. I was pointing things out to the salesman.. etc... go figure.

Still.. decent looking tractor though... I'm tempted to get a small one with fel one day.. just to get the occasional front loader use out of it.. etc 5k for a new tractor with a loader is a great price..

Hey Soundguy,
I just got my Nortrac/Jinma and I love it. Adding snowplow to it right now. Will be building fel for it in the winter. There is a site for Chinese tractor owners. Alot of help and the dealers go there too and help out alot. There is a site for parts also. Yes the price was the reason I bought one. And the Chinese site helped me go that route. Made alot of friends. It is as helpful as this site. I love it

dur bob -- not sure where you live in ohio, but we're in northwest ohio if you want to come down and look at one. we sold jinma line, NOT the farm pro!! have a couple of demos i'm selling below cost, just don't have time to devote to tractor sales. our website also has the links to the chinese tractor owners sites previously mentioned
