FarmPro (Jinma)2430
I have a FarmPro 3430 4x4
Have a chance to get a hydraulic 3-Point wood splitter at a bargain & trying to figure out if I can hook it to my tractor
Tractor has 1 quick connect fitting at back left, but also has amother pipe on other side that has no fitting
(I uses this outlet to drain when I changed fluid last year)
The attachment is currently on a Kubota that has 4 Quick Connects & only 2 lines are used
Will it work on the Jinma, using the right hand pipe/outlet as return ?
I'm pretty sure I'll have to have lines made or change fittings
Thanks, David

That port on the right side of the tractor is most likley for a dump trailer. It only receives pressure when you try to raise the 3PH. If you have a speed reg valve to control how fast a impliment is lowered, you may be able to screw it all the way in to restrict flow into the 3PH and feed all the fluid to that rear port(trailer dumps when you lift the 3PH lever and trailer lowers by gravity when you lower the 3PH lever). You would need a return port for fluid to flow back to the reservoir. You could then use these ports to feed the supply and return ports on an open center detent splitter control valve.

Thanks for info, I figured it would be a PIA
Although I knew it would not be a "Plug & Play application,
Hoses, Fittings, Auxiliary Valve, etc., too much for me

You can make your own lines and end up with something like this. When done, it's really handy.

I used them for log splitter, 3PH snow blower, and angling front snow plow.

Does your tractor have a front-end loader? Normally on a Jinma the FEL is removable, and the hoses can be disconnected to remove it. Disconnect the hoses for the FEL and connect them to the splitter (leave the FEL on the tractor). When you're done splitting, reconnect the FEL.

Sorry about late reply, just evidence I hardly ever use the Web
quicksand, No loader ironic I have had 2 other Jinmas & a Kubota with loaders but traded or sold them
Smalljobs, that is a great valve set-up you have there I made a similar one for a Bobcat years ago to run a cold milling machine for asphalt

As I have gotten older (68) just don't use equipment near as much to justify added expense (Just 11 hrs on this FarmPro this year)
But I did get a wood splitter to save using that heavy maul
