Why not have a forum just for Jinma? I know that not all but most of this forum consist of Jinma questions or answers. Robby

Robby that subject has been brought up more than once. Jinma goes by many other names and its just easier if it just all combined, it's alot easier for folks.

I understand that Jinma ,Farm pro and Nortrac are the same . I see that Bransom and Century are also the same . What I see is that more and more post on the chinese forur have to do with Jinma ,Farm pro and Nortrac than any other.

The "other" chinese tractor posts are few. Most of the time, Jinma owners/dealers will be able to help with non-jinma questions, because many things are similar between them. Or at least give some trouble-shooting guidance. As Kama and other chinese tractors become more popular, and many more posts appear, then it would be time to split the topic forum. JMHO.

Not that it matters much, but Branson and Century are Korean, not Chinese - and have a forum HERE.. FarmPro and NorTrac are both rebadged Jinmas, as are AgriCat, TractorKing, and many many more. See THIS PAGE for example. But if you're a purist, a brief search will turn up discussion sites elsewhere on the net that include "Jinma only" forums or topics.

KAMA/TaiShan - DongFeng - Futian/Foton - among others, are emerging Chinese base names here in America as well. Small numbers initially, so they're pretty much "other than Jinma" for now. But to confuse matters, these other than Jinma Chinese tractors are quickly being subjected to this idiotic rebadging too. Imagine the confusion in China, if twelve Chinese importers brought in the same Massey Ferguson line, then turned around and gave it twelve different names.

I am beginning to see other than Jinma Chinese base brands chipping away at formerly brisk Jinma sales. Until the dust settles, and it's determined who the "survivors" may be, I think it's less confusing and more informative to keep this a generic Chinese tractor forum for a while longer.

Yea, sort of like LG being sold as TAFE, FARMTRAC and MONTANA... or TYM being sold as Mahindra, Scorpion and TYM. seems to be a trend here and its not just the Chinese. I guess as a manufacturere, the more people putting their name on your product the more you can pump out the back door.

We just left the KAMA name on our imports, although it is and has been sold under dozens of names (Terraplane, Eagle, Griffin, Morgan, etc.)

I"m pretty sure the Yancheng (Jinma) factory has the most brand names associated with it, cant even begin to count them all!
