Hey Chris,
thank you for the advice,
yes this is the way i was also thinking to do the fluid change of the Steering System but i am not sure when i refill the system if this will by it self blew out the air or if i have to do something to get the air out of the System.
when i get the Tractor (crated) i change all the fluids but the steering i have only drain the steering Cylinder and the Oil Reservoir in Front of the Radiator.
i have not drain the whole system so i doesn't know if the Pump and the Steering unit will blew out the Air by itself.
Hey Greg,
don't know if the 300 European Jinma Series have also an Common Sump System but it looks like all 244E Jinmas have the common sump.
This is nothing more than a hole in the Bottom of the Lifter Box with an Overflow pipe that let flow the Hydraulic fluid into the Transmission Box and the Hydraulic Suction Line is connected to the side wall of the Trans Box near the bottom.
In my opinion this have a lot of pros and contras
the first contra is, if you doesn't know that it is an common sump system you will fill the lifter Box and wonder why it doesn't will fill up until you take notice that the Transmission Box is completely flooded
about the Manual and the recommendation for the indicated oil
the Manual shows only a Diesel Engine Oil for all (Engine, Gear, Hydraulic, Injector Pump) depending the temperature they recommend an 20, 30 or 40 Oil, i think they mean Engine oil with an Viscosity of SAE20, SAE30 or SAE40
ok, i will try the ISO32 Hydraulic Fluid in the Steering system and if this oil will be not the right one i can change it to an lighter one in the next winter.
