Well if it started after he replaced the fuse, his wires and starter must be intact... Perhaps he didn't apply the screwdriver correctly?

The good thing about intermittent problems is that they always come back If that is the case, he will get a chance to see it again...

I HATE intermittent problems! I much prefer the thing to stay dead rather than die then come to life for a bit then die again, etc. Dead can be subjected to systematic troubleshooting and cured. Intermittent issues require more serious voodoo and sheer luck to solve. I do better with logic than luck, most of the time. (grin)
