JD 110 TLB & Kubota 7800
Hi all, I am a JD 110 tlb & Kubota 7800 owner. I have been a Kubota owner for 12 yrs and only have a few issues with them. i.e. breaks on wrong side, cant use them with the hydro models. The JD 110 I just got is an 2005 with 131 hrs on it. I have been having problems with the elecrical. The tractor will start normal in the morning and run for a few miniuts and then start cutting out and one of the relays in the fuse pannel starts osolating making the fuel shutoff soliniod osolate.I have triet switching relays around and by-passed the seat switches to eleminate that, I have replaced the ignition switch and the fuel shutoff solinoid. The problem still happens. This, to me, seams like a lose connection or a lose ground. My question is " is there any one out there who has had a simular problem and can give me a heads up on where to look"? Things I have tried: when the tractor starts cutting out I turned the ignition key off & on real quick and it clears the problem for a few miniuts, but problem returns shortly. Also I noticed normally when I start the tractor it starts when the key is in the start position. other times the engine wont start untill I release the key from start position. HELP ME PLEASE. Joe

Welcome to TBN Joe:D

There are quite a few 110TLB owners here, and I have quite a few hours one on myself and have never heard of this problem. I think you need to trace the wiring harness carefully and look for a pinched wire...not a fun job.

Welcome to TBN Joe! It seems to me I just read another thread about this....but I cannot remember where....or with which model of tractor. You may want to try the 'search" function above.

IRRC.....the operator had a similar situation to that you describe....and the advice was to look for a wire to the fuel solenoid.....which is what Kennyd is saying too.

Maybe somebody else has advice......but it would be good to know your outcome as well. Good luck.

Welcome Joe!

If you let the 110 just sit and run does it cut out or do you have to be moving around for it to happen? It could be a loose wire or a bad component. It's possible for the ignition switch or a relay to break down internally but the first place to start looking is in the wiring and connections.

If the wiring looks good you can bypass components one by one with a jumper across them to help isolate the problem.
