John Deere 1020 tractor wanting to stall auxiliary hydraulic

Wanting to know how to install hydraulic remotes on rear of my tractor but don't have the cash to use install Deere parts just want to go with a simple spool valve and like to see the process step by step my s/n162035T

You can install a spool valve with rear breakaway couplers by tying into hyd system similar to installing a FEL control valve.

What are you trying to operate with the hydraulics ? Which front pump is the 1020 equipped with.

May I ask "how which pump" will affect attaching a spool valve to a JD 1020? Spool valve should be attached the same no matter what size hyd pump tractor has.

It's the very large pump just like the one on my 300B backhoe

The 1020 was only ever built with the small 1000 series pump. Either 6.75gpm four piston 11cm 1000 series pump or the 13gpm eight piston 23cm 1000 series pump.
The 300B was built with a 40cm 2000 series pump rated at 23gpm.
