My 1050 will not move. The rear wheels are locked up. For awhile, the wheels would hangup as I let out the clutch, then give a little "pop" and the tractor would drive and shift, etc. Now --- locked up tight. Any thoughts on what is the matter? Thanks. Dave in KY

My first thought was whether you remembered to release the parking brake. My next thought was whether you have it in two gears at once somehow. Try moving your gear selector a bit.

Well the starter won't engage if either the hi/lo range or a gear is selected. So it is neutral for sure.

I'm almost positive your brake cams are bound inside your drums. It's a pretty common problem. That pop sound you hear is usually them breaking free from the drum.
Replacing brake shoes on your Yanmar tractor

You can still get it into gear correct.. It just won't move and stall out when you release the clutch??
