I finally found a mower deck for a good price. And if anyone read my other pages I found the whole mounting kit new just 15 years old. For 100$ when I went to install it today the 1070 required to frame plates the fits but the second one I don't know if I've got the right one. Can anyone help me can you take a few photos of the mid mount near the FEL . So I can tell if I've got the right one on.

Are you saying one plate that bolts under the front weight bracket fits, but the second one does not?
I assume these are the plates that the front bail of the mower deck hooks to when attached.
If I recall correctly, both these plates are the same. Are yours both the same?
Or am I way off base?

Are you referring to the mount at the bucket up by the radiator or at the main loader standoff posts at centerline of wheelbase? The centerline brackets are referred to as the 'pork chops' and are quite large for the 1070 application. I use them to mount my front snowplow extensions.
I talking about the plates mid point near where your feet would be.one plate bolts to 4x4 tube with 6 holes in the plate and to the frame. What's the next set of plates..I was in a rush or I would have taken a few pictures. But I needed to get somewhere.

Go to jdparts.com (free registration) and put in the model 1070 (compact utility will show on the list that comes up). Then go to "Implement" and select your 72" mower, which will give you some choices (pick "alphabetic" and go to "P" for Plate. You will see the "Deck Mounting Adaptor Kit" and it may help you identify your various parts.
Yes I am missing those. I sent you a message. I just realized I've seen that picture before. Way back when I first bought my tractor I saw your article on the truck Plow convert? ? I want to make same thing right time of year people **** near give plows away because they don't want to store them.
