I have a John Deere 110 riding lawn mower with an 8 hp Kohler engine. The carbuerator was taken apart to be cleaned because the engine was not running very well. I now have it back together, but the engine runs way too fast when the speed lever is set to run from slow to fast. It is like the governor is not working correctly. Has anyone had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS - Does anyone know of any diagrams or shop manuals that can be viewed online for these lawn tractors?

Did you get it fixed yet? What year 110? I have a 70 112 that I can take a picture of the throttle linkage, to see if its hooked up right.
