I just picked up my new but used (800hrs) JD 110tlb. I thought it had rear aux hydraulics when I agread to buy it but it did not. I got this machine at a fairly good price so I stuck to my agrement to buy it thinkig that it's an 2007 model I should be able to buy the kit and put it on my self. Not having much luck finding a kit :-(
I want to run a snow blower off of the rear aux hydraulics and run the hoses to the front for the blower, and save my front aux for the chute rotation. I also need the rear aux to put a thumb on the back hoe. Hope someone can help me

rear remotes for the 110 tlb was factory installed only so there is no kit (same for 7 function backhoe factory only). Tech manual states minimum flow for imp pump to be 10gpm so unless looknig at low flow blower it is lean on hydraulics to run a snowblower. There is getting to be more and more rotary hyd att that run with a lower flow requirement motor but I can not attest to how well they work. You could add a pto powered pump with a reservoir to power or tie into hoe's power beyond for additional valves.

Sorry, all the 110 hydraulics had to be factory installed. You could definitely make it happen, but that would be above my pay grade. If you want, you could part everything out through JD parts, probably only cost you $4,000+ not including the labor.

What hydraulics does it have now? If you have the front aux hydraulics, you could rig this system up, but even then, it's not ideal:

If you got a good enough deal, try and sell it for what you bought it for and get one with all the auxiliary hydraulics as it's your only way to truly have the factory set-up.

Thanks for the reply. Acording to JD the front aux presure is good enough but the blower would need to be a low pressure hydro motor, JD said up in Jackson hole WY they are using that system. I have not called around to check on that. I don't know what the front aux pressure is, I did not get a operators manual. I have been searching around the net and found someone on youtube that put a drop box on the pto and ran a shaft to the front. I know by doing that one would need to be carfull not to raise the blower to high. I have not been able to find a drop box yet, I am still looking.

I called my JD dealer, to ask what the flow for the front aux hydraulics is and he said somewhere around 5-7. I purchased a used FFC snowblower requiring low flow and tried to run it off of the aux hydraulics on the fel but there was not enough flow, so I used long hoses and ran the flow going to the backhoe to the snowblower on the front instead, but it still didn't have enough flow even when I had the backhoe presence sensor pressed down. What I ended up doing was getting a Woods 78 inch snowblower for the pto and it works a lot better than the hydro one did on the fel, but the drawback is that you have to drive backwards, but as long as it throws snow and doesn't get stuck like the FFC one did.

I purchased a snow blower kit from a company in Canada. It consist of a dual pto gear box. what it does is changes the direction of the rear pto to come out the front, the kit comes with the gear box, drive line, front mount bearing and safety bars and pins that prevents you from raising the loader arms to high. This kit is made for the 110tlb. After you purchase this kit you can use any pto driven snow blower, that you mount on the front after you take off your loader bucket. Use your front aux hydraulics to run the snow blower shoot. You can see this working on YouTube/ Bill Max/ 110tlb front mount snow blower.

Hi there.

Which company in Canada did you get the dual PTO gear box kit and snowblower from?

Thanks,

Dave

Sorry Dave for not getting back to you. Smith Welding and Machine they are on the east coast.

You sure that isn't Smyth? They are here in Ontario. I own a powered sweeper of theirs. Respectable quality but expensive.

I think I looked into that many years ago when comtemplating a 110. It was considered that there simply isn't enough flow. It is a 4000 series tractor under that Yellow. Nothing remarkable.

The gearbox idea is for a front mounted blower without loader. You can't easily take off the loader. You would be better off with a rear pto pump and resourvoir.

I know it's a terrible solution, but you could take off the hoe and if you have the lift arms, use a run of the mill, cheap, rear snowblower.
