John Deere 2030 Hydraulic lift adjustments - fine tuning

Recently had lift rebuilt by dealer as it had blown a seal and was struck in up position. Removed rock shaft housing and dealer completed rebuilt it. Now back on tractor and working but... while in use it sometimes creeps up. So when have lowered implement hold my hand on lift handle to keep it in position. Checked my "I&T Shop Service" manual and page 61, "hydraulic system adjustments" shows adjustments to be made after rebuilt. However the manual covers several models of similar horsepower and the adjustments noted are for a different model. So my question is, does anyone have a technical manual on a 2030 that gives the adjustments needed after overhaul. Would you please give me the list and specs on the adjustments, even copy and post the page. It would be very much appreciated. Also would the "fine tuning" adjustments correct my "creep" problem? I am thinking it would.

Sounds as if 3 pt control handle is moving if you can control creep with the handle.Handle requires resistance for 3 pt to stay in the set position, Handle has friction & spring washers (parts Keys #10 & 11) for tension.

Thanks. I too thought of that and put on the two new spring washers this AM. Not checked yet to see if it will stay in position over long haul. Before had rebuilt there was no problem with the handle staying in the set position so was thinking it may need some "fine tuning" after the overhaul. Have ordered a "Technical Manual" for the 2030, but it will not be in until the end of the month or later. Attention those reading this.... after I receive the manual I will be happy to give anyone who ask specs, etc out of this manual. Its suppose to be the same one the John Deere dealers use.

Mine was doing the same thing. But now it will only go all the way up or all the way down.

Is your tractors L/D lever under the seat set in position"D"? If so it's possible parts key #2 or #3 may be broken.

I bent the pin going through #3 as it is one heavy housing to put on. Also, make sure you have the #3 on thg right way as it goes against the cam lobe on the rockshaft.

How much did the rockshaft rebuild cost? Just curious...

I'll have to check. I'm in the gulf of mexico at work right now. I'll be home Wednesday and I'll check it out. I believe mine is internal b/c at one time it was like the OP stated, it would creap up or down and now it will only go all the way up or all the way down.
