JD 2040 1982 less than 1000 hrs can any one have any input on value and tractor itself

The three cylinder 2040 or the four cylinder 2040 with the turbo?
Broken hour meter ?
Check the coolant corossion inhibitor with a test strip .

I could be wrong but I was under the impression that the 4 cyl 2040 tractors where European or Spanish tractors not NA tractors. Up to 82 NA tractors had a manually driven tach and after 82 went to an electrical driven tach. I would also question the advertised hours, that is not much use over a 30 year or so time frame.
