I have a JD 24T baler, when the plunger head is returning it will kink to the right (looking at the baler from the front), when its pushing the hay to the rear it works perfectly. I haven't torn it completely down at this point, but I don't see any rollers in the parts manual, so I'm not sure if it even has rollers. Suggestions on how to correct this?

Here's a thread about 24T wear pads. You may have some wear on it and it's binding because the pressure coming back isn't equal(ish) like when it's pushing hay. The pin/bushings could be worn in the middle as well.

I'm looking at the parts catalog trying to determine which set of bearings your referring to, would you mind being a tad more specific? I apologize haven't been able to determine the correct one.
Disconnect the pitman arm at the crankshaft. This is very easy to accomplish without a lot of disassembly. Now you will probably see that the pitman bearings inside the plunger head are worn out, have fallen out or the crank pin is toast because you can rock it side to side. (You have to be a 'rock it' scientist in order to determine this.) Empty the baler and pull the plunger + connecting rod out of the bale chute to change out the 2 bronze bushings inside the plunger case. While you are at it, sharpen the plunger knives and inspect the plunger slide plates. A manual will explain how to shim the plunger and slide bearings if new parts are installed.
