Hey all
I'm running into an issue with the farm's 300CX Loader. I could really use the help of the JD Gurus in here.
Here's the order of events:
- Brush-hogging some thick vegetation & mowing an access road around the perimeter. Tractor operation normal. PTO Operation Normal
- Disengage PTO Deck for approximately 100 yds, then re-engage. Operation Normal.
- Continue mowing for another 800 yds and the tractor shuts down. (Note: This has happened previously and after a weeks time, the tractor started right back up)
- Go to restart the tractor. The warning message on the LED display reads "PTO On". (Note: This is new)
- Disengege PTO Switch.
- Recycle ignition sequence—the same message.
- Exit the cab and assess the condition of the tractor. No leaking fluids. No broken hoses. The mower/Brushhog Attachment is secure.
- Hand spin PTO Shaft to try and possibly disengage any safety sensor.
- Recycle ignition sequence. Same message.
- I continue to assess the exterior of the tractor and noticed wires dangling on the starboard (or right if you were facing the back of the tractor) side, just forward of the rear wheel, dangling wires with 2 connectors. One appears intact, the other appears to have been disconnected.
The wiring harness appears to start forward of where the cable is currently held to the frame and transmission housing. The cable bundle clip is located just in the space between the cab and the PTO Pump body. I'm not sure which came first, as the PTO was engaged and in operation for a while prior to shutting down.
Any and all help would be great, and I would encourage additional questions, as I may have missed some info for you all to assess properly.
I have attached photos of the wiring.
