john deere 301a manual tm1088 section 15

301A REVERSER REBUILD The repair manual I have TM 1088 does not have the section that covers the reverser, which should be section 15. I have bought two of these manuals and that section is not in either one. Is this section available? If it is please tell me where I could buy it. My brothers and I love to work on these old tractors and it sure is a big help to have the complete manual. I don't think we have ever owned any thing we didn't have to work on before we could use it. thanks

Not sure which AG tractor the 301A is based on, my 2030 Tech Manual, TM-1051, HAS section 15, which is on the Reverser, 18 pages. So you might get the Tech manual for the AG tractor it's based on.

According to TractorData (TractorData.com John Deere 301A industrial tractor information), the 301A is apparently a variant of the 1020 farm tractor. But the reverser seems to have been available only on the 301A, not on the 1020. The same planet pinion carrier(part #AR39074) for the reverser fits all these models so any tech manual with section 15 should be fine.
