I recently purchased a JD 3032E tractor with a 305 loader . According to the loader set up manual there is supposed to be a leveling sight gage attached to top of the loader bucket to prevent excessive scrapping when plowing snow. The dealer claims no such part exits for the 305 and that you should determine level from viewing the top edge of the blade.

Welcome to TBN!

Maybe they mean a level indicator like this. Just a sticker to indicate the top of the bucket is level with the bottom.

Update. Looking at the 305 manual that is exactly what they mean.

I took my bucket level indicator (the rod and tube style) off years ago, it seemed to always snag on something so I removed it. Once you learn that the top of the bucket is on the same plane as the cutting edge you don't need it.
