John Deere 3038e and I-match auto

Good afternoon, I just purchased a new john deere 3038e to replace my smaller 2210. The sales guy at the dealership is telling me that the 3038e doesnt support the I-match auto quick attachment system. Has anyone encountered this? Not sure why he would say it supports the I-match and not the I-match auto. Thanks for any help you can give.

I don't think anybody here has the iMatch auto hitch...I have only heard of them and seen it on the website, but very little mention of it around here.

The john deere website shows pretty much every other 3000 model tractor compatible but the 3038e. guess its my own fault for buying a tractor without researching that first. oh well

The only advantage of the "Auto Hitch" is that it hooks up the PTO shaft for you. In the big picture, that is the easy part of attaching a 3PH implement, getting on the hitch is the hard part and the regular iMatch takes care of that. Plus the added expense-each implement had to be modified to work with it, and also only a few implements are compatible with it...

Not worth it IMHO...just get the regular iMatch
