2012 John Deere 3038E
I just ordered a new John Deere 3038e. I had the extra SCV added, but my understanding is they will not allow me to run a continuous flow to a three point wood splitter. This model does not have a power beyond kit. Is there a way to make this work, or do I need to by a pump for the PTO? Thank you

According to Tractordata, you have this.

Hydraulics:
Type: open center
Capacity: 5.5 gal [20.8 L]
Pressure: 2500 psi [172.4 bar]
Valve flow: 5.3 gpm [20.1 lpm]
Total flow: 9.3 gpm [35.2 lpm]
Steering flow: 4.0 gpm [15.1 lpm]
Steering press.: 1500 psi [103.4 bar]

Should be enough to run a splitter.

Thanks JJ. I guess i will have to look at the tractor closer once I get it. I know the ports listed are for the loader. I added two more, but the dealer said they would not allow for a live hydraulic feed to the splitter. In the manual is stated they should not be forced open. Hard to understand without the actual tractor in front of me though. Thanks again.
