John Deere 325 fc540v-as15 Kawasaki manual

I took a $500 chance on an old 325 with a 17hp Kawasaki engine and a 54" deck . It cuts nicely and sounds good, but I want to thoroughly check everything before I run it hard. However, I can't find a PDF operators manual or parts manual to download. Does anyone know where I could find a copy? Any other advice on how to treat andmaintain this machine would be appreciated.

Do you want the manuals for the tractor or the engine?

Deere operator's manuals are available on line --- they're not available to download but are available to use any time that you want to use them. Parts manuals not. But you can order the parts manual if you want to spend the $.

Kawasaki engine tech manuals are available to download from Kawasaki.

The owners manual can be viewed here. Just enter your model in the search box. At the bottom of the page is a link to service publications. A copy of the owners manual is available on a CD or Hard copy for $25-$30. Service manual in CD or hard copy is $50-$110 depending on format and serial number break.
