Hello forum...! I know there has been plenty of discussion around John Deere 4100 tractors not starting. I'm in the same boat but can't get a specific answer from the other topics. My 4100 had been starting fine until late. When I first start the tractor it turns on fine, but seems to be running on fuel that was unused from the previous time I ran it. It then dies after 10 seconds or so. After that I would crank it a few times until finally it would start up again. Today the tractor has not started at all. It ran for 10 seconds as mention above, but now will not start. I have check all the lines and up to the fuel pump and fuel is flowing. The fuel filter is new. I also took off the fuel solenoid and when I turn the key the solenoid clicks and the metal pin does pull in. So does anyone have any other suggestions... i.e. bad fuel pump, injectors bad. In other words if my problem sounds like something you have fixed before please provide your solution.
