I recently began having trouble starting my 4105. I was in the field and had to shut it off, and when I tried to turn it back on I had to turn the key back and forth several times. It worked like that a few more times, and then progressed to the point that I had to push in on the key as well as turn it to start the tractor (on this model, pushing in the key activates some kind of heating feature).
The last time I used the tractor, I had to push and jiggle the key for several minutes to get it to work. When I turn the key one click to the on position, the dash lights come right on and the usual constant clicking sound happens, but then when I turn the key to the start position, everything goes dead (until it's been sufficiently pushed and jiggled!).
Once it works, it fires up instantly and runs great. Does this sound like I need a new ignition switch, or is there another problem I'm not considering?
Thanks!
