John Deere 4200 - steering wheel just spins

Steering wheel spins freely not turning tires. When front and is jacked up you cannot move tires by hand.

If your really lucky, the steering wheel is loose on the shaft and not turning the orbital steering valve (#10). Otherwise it could be a bad valve, or the hydraulic pump that's dedicated to the steering.

The piston rod in my steering cylinder came unscrewed. The replacement cylinders are rebuildable but not my original....
