I have a john deere 430 diesel lawn tractor. it starts up and dies. Wont stay running. Any advice or suggestions? I put a new fuel pump and fuel filter on it.
i put new fuel in it
it runs for only a second or 2
when i get it running it stays at best a minute or 2
and slowly looses power and dies
no air in system?
I also put new o rings in injector pump. they were leaking
So the injector pump can be serviced with new O rings?
Is this the 3 cyl Yanmar diesel?
Is the fuel pump that you put on new the transfer pump from the fuel tank.
Sounds like you wil need to test the fuel flow from tank, from transfer pump, and from the fuel filter as well as after the fuel injectot pump. Somewhere in there it must be stopping the flow or pressure.

flow good at all 3 locations untill she shuts off
sometimes i need to reprime
sometime air
sometimes flow is good
